JEDDAH: Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), expressed King Salman’s sincere greetings to the people and the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
He visited the Balkan state upon the instructions of King Salman, who is keen to bolster ties with the country and open new horizons of cooperation between both states.
Prince Sultan was received by the chairman of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic, at his office in the capital, Sarajevo.
Izetbegovic expressed personal appreciation, as well as that of his government, for the role of the Kingdom in assisting his country overcome difficult post-war situations and start rebuilding the nation through political and economic stability and development.
He lauded the pivotal role played by King Salman at that stage, making him an exceptional personality to the Bosnian people.
Izetbegovic said he is going forward to further enhance fraternal in all humanitarian fields and contacts at the people-to-people and legacy levels, which is parallel or even surpasses the importance of enhancing economic relations, now seen as steadily proceeding.
Later, Prince Sultan met Bosnian Minister of Civil Affairs Adil Osmanovic, and they reviewed the cooperation fields between the two countries in all fields.
